Privacy Policy for ElectroFix

ElectroFix ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Android application.
1. Data Collection and Usage

Sensor Data (Local Processing): ElectroFix accesses high-sampling rate sensors (accelerometer) and battery statistics solely to optimize system performance through metabolic fingerprinting and drift calibration. This data is processed locally in real-time.

Device Identifiers (Cloud & Security): To prevent trial abuse and ensure licensing integrity, we collect a unique Device ID (Android ID) and Installation Timestamp. This data is stored securely via Google Firebase and is used strictly for App Functionality and Fraud Prevention.

Analytics and Advertising Data (AD_ID): We use Google Firebase Analytics to track interactions (e.g., optimization engine status). We collect the Google Advertising ID for install attribution and marketing optimization. Data is aggregated and anonymized.
2. Permissions
The application requests specific permissions strictly for functionality:
- WAKE_LOCK & FOREGROUND_SERVICE: To keep the performance shield active.
- HIGH_SAMPLING_RATE_SENSORS: For precise hardware monitoring.
- INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: For trial verification (NTP) and Firebase sync.
- AD_ID (Advertising ID): For analytics and campaign measurement.
3. Payments and Subscriptions
All transactions are handled by the Google Play Billing System. ElectroFix does not store credit card details. We only receive a cryptographic confirmation of purchase from Google to enable features.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Play Services: Updates and security.
- Google Firebase: Data synchronization and fraud prevention.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: Usage telemetry and attribution.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Retention: We retain minimal data (Device ID and Subscription Status) indefinitely to protect intellectual property and prevent license bypass through reinstallation.
Deletion Rights: Users can request data deletion by following these steps:
- Step 1: Email bogdanvoda3aap27@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
- Step 2: Include your unique Device ID in the email.
- Step 3 (For Premium/Pro Users): To prevent fraudulent deletions of paid accounts, you must attach your Google Play Order ID (e.g., GPA.1234-5678...) as proof of purchase. We will not process deletion requests for active premium licenses without this verification.
- Step 4: Once verified, records will be deleted within 30 days.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Requesting data deletion will immediately and irreversibly terminate any active Trial, Premium, or Lifetime access. Since your identity is tied to the Device ID, we will no longer be able to verify your purchase. No refunds will be issued for services lost due to a manual deletion request.
6. Compliance
ElectroFix complies with GDPR and CCPA regarding Fraud Prevention. Users can stop the engine at any time via the UI.
